Hello, Dear Ones! Have you wondered over the last couple years why things seem out of control and crazy in the world? Have you felt increased hardship in your personal life, along with the global crises? Do you ever ask, “Why God?” or “What is going on, God?” If you have, you are not alone. I want to encourage you that, yes, God is in control still. He is still a good and loving God, and furthermore, the Lord Jesus warned us about all the events that are unfolding. I will jump to the good news first…God is going to fix it all. Mankind has really messed up and all our efforts to change the world into paradise have actually done the opposite. Only Jesus can fix things, and He will.
Maybe you don’t believe in Jesus and instead you think things will somehow go back to normal? Or maybe you believe a bunch of corrupt elites are really in control? After all, world leaders have used global crises to control almost every aspect of people’s lives, in most places. Strange things pop up in the news, like the Navy admitting UFOs are really a thing. Technology has become mind blowing and many places are prepping for a cashless society. If you can believe in UFOS or A.I. changing the world, is it really so far fetched to believe the Bible talked about these things? Can you at least open your mind to the possibility? I hope so, because the prophecies of scripture read like today and tomorrows headlines.
New World Order, cashless society, signs in the heavens, global disasters, pandemic, war, famine, the ability to travel all over the earth, increased knowledge, and even things that seem to describe nuclear fallout and the rise of a supreme A.I., all these things were recorded in scripture thousands of years ago. God even describes how the nation of Israel would come back as a nation in a day….this didn’t come to fruition until 1948…but God spoke of it thousands of years before. God told us that one day Russia and other specific nations would go to war with Israel. We see those nations in the middle East right now, and the fall of Afghanistan just gave them the weapons they need (Ezekial 38). Are you concerned you won’t be able to sell or buy without a vaccine passport? Well, one day in the not so far future (only God knows the exact time), people won’t be able to buy or sell without the Mark of the Beast. The technology is already being set up. I don’t plan to be here then. I’m leaving with Jesus when He comes for me. I hope you’ll be coming too.
I have several scriptures to share with you. I encourage you, if you do nothing else, to at least watch this video by Jan Markell, about the convergence of events. She provides several clips and articles to support her points and of course scripture. This post isn’t completely in order like I’d like but I ask for your grace. I’m having some health issues tonight and it’s hard to think. My declining health is one of the reasons I haven’t posted on here in awhile. I appreciate your prayers.
I’m going to share some of what I shared back in 2017, in my Megapost: Jesus’ Prophecies in Real Time. It’s even more relevant now.
“So let’s look at what Jesus prophesied will happen before the “Final Countdown”.
“6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place;” Matthew 24:6-7 AMP
I’m here to tell you, “Don’t worry. God is in control!” Jesus prophesied these things must happen before the end. Listen to what He says in Matthew 24: 8 AMP
I’m going to share the rest of the specific verses but I want us to ponder verse 8 and Jesus’ use of “birth pains”. The signs Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24: war, crazy weather, and immorality have always been but never on the massive scale we see today. All of the signs are ramping up and converging. 2017 has set records. Moms, like me, know that contractions can go on for weeks before the birth of a baby…but as the contractions speed up and become more frequent…closer together…real labor is going to happen any day. Mom may not know the exact time the baby will arrive but delivery is imminent. These signs Jesus talked about are like contractions and He is coming back soon! We can not know the exact time but we are to be aware of the signs of His return.
2017 set records…well, we can say that doubly so in 2020 and 2021. Let’s look in Luke…here’s where plagues come in (same as a pandemic).
“7 “Teacher,” they asked Him, “so when will these things be? And what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?”
8 Then He said, “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Don’t follow them. 9 When you hear of wars and rebellions,[c] don’t be alarmed. Indeed, these things must take place first, but the end won’t come right away.”
10 Then He told them: “Nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be violent earthquakes, and famines and plagues in various places, and there will be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven.” Luke 21:7-11 HCSB
Ezekiel 38 prophecy- The war against Israel
An article defending the pre-trib rapture and explaining its history. Why is the Pretrib being demonized in these last days?
A reminder of 2 Peter 3:3-4 KJV
” 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
2 Timothy 3: 3-7 HCSB
“3 But know this: Difficult times will come in the last days. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people!
6 For among them are those who worm their way into households and capture idle women burdened down with sins, led along by a variety of passions, 7 always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. “
God tells Daniel about the last days. This is also where we get the timing of the 7 year tribulation. It’s purpose is to bring the Jews back to God.
Daniel 12: 1,4,11-12 HCSB “At that time
Michael the great prince
who stands watch over your people will rise up.
There will be a time of distress
such as never has occurred
since nations came into being until that time.
But at that time all your people
who are found written in the book will escape….4 “But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.’…11 From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 The one who waits for and reaches 1,335 days is blessed.”
We can see here that the temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem and they will reinstate sacrifices. What is the abomination of desolation? Well, the New Testament tells us. This is when the Antichrist sits in the temple and declares himself god. Then the Jews will realize this man is not the messiah. Also, note that Paul speaks of the day of the Lord. The early believers were terrified they had missed the rapture and that they were already facing the day of the Lord, God’s judgement on the earth. Paul assures them that they haven’t missed Jesus’ return and that judgement will come after the antichrist has been revealed. Also, it is believed that the restrainer is the Holy Spirit working through the church. Once we are removed, all chaos and evil will ensue.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 HCSB
“2 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him: We ask you, brothers, 2 not to be easily upset in mind or troubled, either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter as if from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord[a] has come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy[b] comes first and the man of lawlessness[c] is revealed, the son of destruction. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits[d] in God’s sanctuary,[e] publicizing that he himself is God.
5 Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I told you about this? 6 And you know what currently restrains him, so that he will be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one now restraining will do so until he is out of the way, 8 and then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of His mouth and will bring him to nothing with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders, 10 and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, 12 so that all will be condemned—those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.”
So what will the Antichrist, the lawless one, do to the world? What kind of system does he set up and what world view does he hold? In the next verses we see the Antichrist (the 1st beast) and the false prophet (2nd beast) who gets the world to worship the Antichrist’ image (this is where the A.I. comes in because this image can speak). We also see that the Antichrist comes out of a new world order…a group of united nations (further back in the chapter). How do we know what these beasts represent? We are told in the book of Daniel chapter 7. The Bible interprets the Bible. God tells us what certain prophetic terms means.
Revelation 13:4-8, 14-18 HCSB
“And they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against him?”
5 A mouth was given to him to speak boasts and blasphemies. He was also given authority to act[e][f] for 42 months. 6 He began to speak[g] blasphemies against God: to blaspheme His name and His dwelling—those who dwell in heaven. 7 And he was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. 8 All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book[h] of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered…
14 He [the second beast] deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs that he is permitted to perform on behalf of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image[m] of the beast who had the sword wound and yet lived. 15 He was permitted to give a spirit[n] to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast could both speak and cause whoever would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 And he requires everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark[o] on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark: the beast’s name or the number of his name.
Lets go back to Matthew 24
“9 Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
10 And then many will be offended and repelled and will [e]begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred.
11 And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error.
12 And the love of [f]the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity,” Matthew 24:9-12 AMP
Lawlessness is definitely on the rise. We are seeing birth pangs….that means the birth is around the corner. We don’t know the exact day or hour, but we are told to eagerly expect and cry out for Jesus’ return.
1 John 2:18 ESV “18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.”
Back to Daniel and here is the covenant (peace treaty) the Antichrist makes, which turns out to be a trick…
Daniel 9:27 ESV
“27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,[a] and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.””
James 5:8 ESV “8 You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.”
For those of us who trust Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we don’t have to worry…we will be with Him.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ESV
“16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 15: 51-52 ESV
“51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.”
Why should we read about the end times in Revelation?
Revelation 1:3 ESV
“3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.”
Scripture gives us hope, that despite all the evil that is coming, God will turn it into good. He will save the world from the curse.
Revelation 21:4 ESV
“4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.””
We are to long for Jesus’ return because it means evil will finally be defeated.
Revelation 22:17 ESV
“17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.”
Revelation 22:20 ESV
“20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!”
Back to 2 Peter 3…verses 8-13
“8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.[a]
11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.[b] That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.”
If Jesus were to return today, would you be left behind? If you were to die right now, would you go to Heaven? You can know for sure about your eternal destiny, by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. http://discovergod.com/discover-god/knowing-god-personally/
Here’s a post about how to be saved and also my testimony.
If you’re reading this and the rapture has already happened, here’s what you need to know:
